Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
CANTINE PARADISO |
This unoaked 100% Primitivo has a youthful deep purple colour. The nose is rather spicy with lots of juicy, plummy-raspberry-crancherry fruit with some faintly smoky notes. It’s dry, medium bodied and bright with some plum-crancherry flavours and a slight savoury note on the lingering finish. This crowd-pleaser has 14% alcohol and 11 g/L residual sugar with lot number L37/22 on the back label. Screwcap closure. Better than the 2018 with 88-points that was released on November 28, 2020 at only $18.95 with a screwcap closure. The 2019 has a cork closure. |
