Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Bright extremely pale faint pink colour. Fairly spicy, ripe apple-melon-apricot nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, very slightly spicy, bright, ripe, apple-melon-lemon flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Versatile, ready-to-drink and very well priced. TASTING NOTE: From a super-popular producer, this wine is sourced from vines grown in alluvial soils along the River Piave. It's bright, fresh and complex, with notions of peach and apricot underscored by marine mineral, and will pair beautifully with pasta primavera or shrimp scampi. |
