TASTING NOTE: Primitivo, the grape known in California as Zinfandel, is a specialty of Italy's Puglia region. This fine example offers juicy raspberry and dark cherry fruit with smoky hickory shading, and the whole thing is wrapped in soft tannins that lend a silky mouthfeel. A nice partner for aged cheeses or eggplant parmesan. [The China Wine & Spirits Awards did not include a tasting note.] Score - Gold (China Wine & Spirits Awards, 2021) Price $ 15.95
