THE FORMULA ROBERT'S CABERNET SAUVIGNON/SHIRAZ 2018 South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SMALL GULLY)
Here is an extremely flavourful, flamboyant, ripe, fruit-driven, very cedary South Assi red which is great for the bbq, especially ribs and/or sausages. It has an extremely deep intense purple colour and a very fruity, intense, plum-cassis-cherry fruit-driven nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, full bodied, mouthfilling, intense, solid, grippy, very fruity, plummy-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, rather cedary finish. It has 15.4% alcohol (the LCBO website says 16.9%) and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21333 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. This is still very youthful and I bet that it could last and even improve for another decade if stored properly. CSPC 18477
