A REPEAT that last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on December 7, 2019 at $28.95. Currently unavailable - here is my previous note. Bright pale straw colour. Fairly intense, very spicy, honeyed, ripe apple nose. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, very spicy, ripe apple flavours with a lingering, high acid, crisp, lemony, somewhat off-dry, effervescent finish. Has 12.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L23059 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: In this wine, an unusually aromatic nose implies dried lemon peel and herbal lift. The palate is creamy and poised, presenting fine foam and rich notions of peach and dried lemon peel, yet remaining slender and dry. The wine is very elegant and shows lovely depth. Score - 94 (Anne Krebiehl, MW, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 31, 2019) |
