OLD TESTAMENT CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019 Coonawarra, South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SISTER'S RUN
A THIRD REPEAT of the recommended 2019 that was last released on October 30, 2021 at $17.95. Assessed from a freshly purchased bottle. Here is one of the most popular Aussi reds in Vintages. This well priced Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon gives many Cabs out there a real run for the money. Extremely deep purple colour. Attractive, intense, ripe, juicy, black-cherry-cassis nose with some cedary, faintly mocca-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-bodied, nicely well structured, harmonious, intense, gently spicy, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, bright, harmonious, cedary finish. This ready-to-drink, very tasty, well balanced, crowd-pleaser has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number D521-107314 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure - it would be great with ribs and lamb. CSPC 478271
