| A REPEAT of the Best Buy 2020 (**+) that was released on November 13, 2021 at $15.95. Here is my just updated 2020 tasting note based on a fresh bottle from the LCBO. Very deep intense purple colour and a very attractive, spicy, bright, ripe black cherry purée nose with some vanilla-cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, nicely structured, gently spicy, intense, juicy, ripe, plummy-black-cherry purée flavours are followed up with a gently cedary, harmonious, mouthfilling finish with nice lively acidity. Versatile, very reasonably priced and ready-to-drink. This 100% Bonarda from Mendoza has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a NEW lot number 3-21336 on the on the lower part of the glass bottle. |
