TASTING NOTE: This blend is always among the more solid examples and fair value in Niagara. It is essentially a \"Bordeaux\" red led by cabernet sauvignon but with all five Bordeaux varieties in the mix, but there is also some syrah that rounds it a bit and brings a riper note to the nose. Expect fairly generous oak chocolate (19 months in barrel), blackcurrant, cherry, evergreen/mint and vanillin. It is medium-full bodied, quite elegant with some heat and considerable tannin suggesting setting this aside for about three years. The length is excellent.
