TASTING NOTE: Darker, almost blue fruits as well as mineral, leather, and peppery goodness all emerge from the 2019 Gigondas Romane Machotte, a very traditional, medium to full-bodied Gigondas based on 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. It will drink well for a decade. Maturity: 2022-2032. Score - 91 (jebdunnuck.com, Jan. 25, 2022) |
