| A REPEAT of the recommended 2020 (**/**+) that was released on May 15, 2021 at $19.95. Here is an easy-to-drink, sweet, effervescent, Muscat that goes head-to-head with Prosecco, which is also made in the Charmat method. Pale straw in colour, the bubbles disappeared rather abruptly in the glass. The aromas of sweet Muscat with a touch of lychee, Seville orange marmalade and lilac are very pleasant and there’s decent effervescence on the palate which is sweet, medium-light bodied, well balanced and harmonious with lots of fruity Muscaty flavours followed up by a fairly crisp finish. It absolutely ready-to-drink with 9% alcohol and now 44 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2102092N on the upper part of the glass bottle. |
