RED TWISTED 2019 VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FLAT ROCK
This new crowd-pleasing blend of 62% Gamay, 24% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 4% Pinot Noir has a deep intense purple colour. The nose is fresh, juicy and attractive with slightly spicy, ripe, plummy-cherry-raspberry fruit. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, tangy, very fresh, ripe raspberry flavours with a crisp, seemingly unoaked, very faintly peppery finish. It has 12% alcohol and 2.7 g/L residual sugar with 5.8 g/L total acidity. Screwcap closure. It’s quite ready-to-drink and would be perfect with poultry and salmon. CSPC 86918
