| This Vintages Online-Exclusive ordered on Thursday April 14 was just picked up today (April 20) at my local LCBO store. Bright medium-plus straw colour. Intense, complex, toasty, ripe, lemon meringue nose with some honeyed, minerally cedar notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, complex, well structured, harmonious, honeyed, very spicy, intense, somewhat mature, ripe melon-lemon-meringue flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, hazelnut-tinged, attractive finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21 286 on the back label with a screwcap closure. This is a great Chenin Blanc that would be perfect with roast chicken, or better yet, lobster! |
