Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

RUSTENBERG |
Very bright medium straw colour. Rather spicy, honeyed, fairly intense, floral, ripe citrus nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, bright, ripe, tangerine citrus flavours with a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish with a faint hint of bitterness. Ready-to-drink and great with spicy dishes, this batch had 2-3 months aging on the lees with 13.5% alcohol, 3 g/L residual sugar and 6.6 g/L total acidity along with lot number 005-19 B330110 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Bottled July 2019. Screwcap closure. |
