DISTINCTION CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2020 VQA Niagara-on-the-Lake
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TRIUS
Very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, ripe, plummy-cherry nose with some minerally notes. Dry, medium-bodied-plus, harmonious, slightly spicy, fairly intense, fresh, ripe, plummy-cherry fruit flavours with a crisp, well balanced finish. Leather, smoke, spice box and/or vanilla notes were not particularly visible on the bottle that I assessed. This ready-to-drink Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in a variety of French oak barriques for six months. It has 14% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with 6.1 g/L total acidity. Screwcap closure.
