GRAND RESERVE PINOT NOIR 2019 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer JACKSON-TRIGGS
NEW in Vintages. This very attractive, well-priced, ready-to-drink, Pinot Noir has a very bright medium-deep red. Intense, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy, crancherry nose with some slightly leathery, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, fresh, ripe, plummy, crancherry-strawberry flavours with a lingering, refreshing, gently cedar, bright finish. Harmonious and surprisingly delicious now, it has 12.5% alcohol, 3 g/L residual sugar and a very respectable 6.2 g/L total acidity. It was actually aged for 18 months in French oak (less than 20% new) where it went through full ML fermentation. Don't miss this bargain. The lot number L21062 is on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 25316
