| Faintly ambering medium deep red colour. Gently spicy, fairly intense,slightly earthy, dried ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, fairly ripe, rustic, plum flavours with a lingering, rather high acid, still somewhat tannic, crisp,leanish, faintly bitter finish. Still quite youthful, this 100% Xinomavro has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L13121303 on the capsule. Should work with lamb kabobs. The 2017 was released on April 3, 2021 at $19.95. |
