| NEW in Vintages. Here is a hefty, rather full bodied, youthful, Tuscan Merlot that offers lots of complexity and promise. It has a extremely deep intense purple colour and rich, ripe, expansive nose that is loaded with warm - faintly baked - ripe Damson plums along with gently savoury, complex, cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, complex, mouthfilling, maturing, ripe, plum fruit with a lingering, fairly high acid, bright, still slightly grippy, sandalwood-cedar finish that goes on and on. Nice ripe tannins, it’s quite great now and will improve over the next five years. This 100% Merlot which was aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrels has 15% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19162 on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: A wonderful merlot with ripe-fruit, chocolate and walnut aromas and flavors. Full body, deep and rich fruit, ripe tannins and a rich, chewy finish. Fun to taste now, but better in two or three years when the tannins soften and come together. Big jump in quality. Drink after 2022 [through 2030+ or decant for one hour and enjoy tonight].
