AMA CHIANTI CLASSICO 2019 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CASTELLO DI AMA
Fairly deep purple-ruby colour. Fragant, floral, violet-rose-tinged nose with some slightly spicy, bright, fresh, plum-crancherrry fruit accompanied by faintly earthy, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, fairly complex, bright, intense, ripe plum-crancherry flavours with some mineral notes and a lingering gently cedary, fairly high-acid, fresh finish. This blend of 96% Sangiovese and 4% Merlot has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21A07 on the back label. Better than the 2016 (***) that was released on September 5, 2020 at $35.95. CSPC 515759
