FLEUR DE CALIFORNIA PINOT NOIR 2018 Carneros County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Fleur de California
This has been renamed simply Fleur which strikes me as a very good idea. This much improved 2018 Pinot Noir is now designated from Carneros as opposed to the wider Monterey County region. Medium deep red colour. Slightly spicy, attractive, juicy, ripe, plummy, black cherry nose with some cedary, raspberry notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, gently cedary, tangy, fresh, ripe raspberry finish. Very tasty, versatile and ready-to-drink, this ready-to-drink Pinot Noir will appeal to many. It has 13.8% alcohol 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20170310 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
