TOUS ENSEMBLE SYRAH 2016 Mendocino County |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
COPAIN |
This JANUARY 22 VINTAGES ONLINE EXCLUSIVE is NEW in Vintages (53 cases of 12). Deep intense ruby purple colour. Bright, ripe, spicy, intense, plummy-cherry-cassis nose with some cedary, gently complex, very faintly smoky notes. Dry medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, well structured, ripe, plum-cassis fruit with refined, ripe tannins on the lingering, gently spicy, lifted finish. Can still age but showing nicely now - definitely worth a try. This 100% Mendocino County Syrah has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with LotDate:20180116 on the back label. |
