UNSHACKLED RED BLEND 2019 California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE PRISONER WINE COMPANY
This very deep intense purple coloured California blend of Zinfandel, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Syrah and Grenache has a very fruity, intense, spicy, rather cedary nose with lots of ripe, plummy, black cherries. It’s quite dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious and ready-to-drink with an abundance of rich, ripe fruit balanced by a wave of toasty, cedary flavours that show good length and decent acidity. There’s nothing subtle about this crowd-pleaser which has 14.5% alcohol, 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number 0215 2102 and 2120805 on the lower part of the glass bottle. It is barrel-aged in French and American oak casks for 11 months before bottling and is NEW in Vintages. CSPC 22597
