EVEL TINTO 2017 DOC Douro
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer EVEL
Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, gently complex, slightly spicy, ripe, cassis-cherry-plum purée nose with some cedar-mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, intense, ripe plum-cassis flavours with a lingering, very crisp, slightly cedary, fairly grippy finish. Try with osso buco or roast beef. This very well-priced, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleasing Douro blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinto Roriz has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number LD20266 on the back label.
