Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE DE LA FERTÉ
NEW in Vintages. Here is a new charming, bright, ready-to-drink, eleganlty fruity Clos de Mortières which comes from Givry commune in La Cote Chalonnaise south of Beaune. Medium-deep purple colour, the nose is focused on ripe plum-cherry-strawberry fruit with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, fresh, ripe, plummy-strawberry-cherry flavours with a lingering, pure, gently complex, lingering finish. Aged for 10 months in French oak (25% new), it has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19198 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 20914
