Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer R-WINES
There is zero information on this wine anywherer - even that agent didnít have a tech sheet, very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, rich, ripe, cassis-Damson-plum-black-cherry nose with well-integrated cedary notes and a touch of minerality. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite dense, well structured, youthful, gently complex, ripe, plum-cassis fruit with a lingering, lively, slightly cedary, ever-so-slightly game-tinged finish. Excellent mouthfeel, it would benefit from 2-3 years more aging. Picked in September 2019 and bottled in July 2020, it seems to be Stage Leap inspired and my guess is that it was fermented and aged in French oak for just 8 months. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar and, as of today December 1st, only 5 days after its release, there are a mere 345 bottles left in 13 stores.
