Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Crápula
Intense purple colour. Fairly juicy, spicy, gently cedary, ripe black cherry purée nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, bright, ripe, cherry-plum puree flavours with a lingering, slightly cedary, refreshingly crisp, faintly bitter finish. Quite ready-to-drink, this tasty, crowd-pleasing blend of Monastrell and Syrah has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-21941 on the back label. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, it is aged for 5 months in a combination of neutral 330 liters French and American oak barrels. CSPC 482505
