Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer XAVIER
This co-fermented blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah has a fairly deep ruby colour. The nose is fruit focused - fresh plums, raspberries and cherry with some spicy notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, harmonious, fresh, crisp finish. Has 12-month ageing in concrete tanks emphasize fruit purity with no oak. A ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LR21179/5 on the lower part of the glass bottle (bottled June 28, 2021).
