Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, very complex, slightly spicy, woodsy, mineral-tinged, ripe Damson plum-, black cherry and cassis nose with some minerally, sandalwood notes. Dry, full bodied, very extracty, well structured, complex, rich, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary, slightly earthy, harmonious finish. This blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc spent 14 months in oak and had no filtration resulting in significantly high dry extract (32.5 g/l). It has 15% alcohol , 2 g/L residual suga and 5.72 g/L total acidity residual sugar with lot number L01/213 on the back label. CSPC 260984
