Domaine MONTHÉLIE 2018 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BOUCHARD PÈRE & FILS
This ripe, well balanced, surprisingly fruity 2018 Monthelie while still age-worthy, it’s very pretty and almost ready to drink. It is NEW in Vintages and only the 4th (and best) Monthelie to appear in 20 years. Bright medium-deep red, there’s a faint hint of amber on the edge. Lovely, ripe, plummy-raspberry-cassis nose with some mineral-tinged, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, rather fruity, plummy-crancherry flavours with some hints of cassis and raspberry followed by a bright, harmonious, lingering, gently grippy finish. It has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21036869 on the capsule and L19692 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 226357
