BAROLO 2017 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PRUNOTTO
Assessed from a bottle just purchased at the LCBO. Medium ambering red colour. Elegant, very slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry purée fruit on the nose with minerally, cedar-tinged, forest floor notes. Dry, medium bodied, very attractive, harmonious, very slightly spicy, bright, surprisingly forward, ripe plum-cherry purée flavours with rounded tannins and a lingering, very pretty, faintly berryish, rounded, red licorice-tinged finish. Silky texture and perfect for current consumption, it has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0191 on the lower part of the glass bottle and on the back label. CSPC 928721
