Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HALOS DE JUPITER
A REPEAT of the 2019 that was released on July 10, 2021 at $18.95. Assessed from a new bottle just purchased at the LCBO. Deep purple colour, the nose is quite spicy with juicy, ripe plum purée fruit with a touch of cassis-tinged cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, gently spicy, attractive, ripe, plummy, black cherry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, cedar-vanilla-driven finish. This juicy, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser has 15% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. This very tasty blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah has lot number 1/161 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 276956

Enjoy it over the coming 3-4 years. Score - 90-92 (Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com, Oct. 6, 2020) Price $ 18.95
