Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer COPAIN
NEW in Vintages. This truly lovely Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a real head turner and at $54.95 is definitely worthy of a detour. Fairly deep intense purple colour, there is a wealth of complexity and sophistication on the nose. The ripe, fresh, raspberry-crancherry-blueberry fruit balanced by hints of refined oak and a touch of Oolong-smoked-tiinged tea. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, delicious, faintly smoky, perfectly ripe, intense, raspberry-Damson-plum-crancherry fruit flavours and a fresh, bright, lingering finish - a cascade of flavours that go on and on. Perfect now - donít delay only 27 cases are available. Has 12.9% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar and was aged for 16 months in classic French oak (only 10% new). CSPC 20772
