NEW in Vintages. This 100% single-variety Nero d’Avola is produced from the old vineyard at Lake Arancio in south-facing western region. xtremely deep intense purple colour. Terrific nose - very intense, complex, cedar-tinged, ripe, fruity, Damson plums with hints of walnuts and warm, slightly smoky, autumnal chestnut notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, complex, ripe, warm Damson plum flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, bright, walnut-sandalwood driven finish. Delicious and capable of aging, this Sicilian gem has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21E041 on the back label. CSPC 19491
