Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Very deep intense purple colour. Extremely attractive, intense, rather complex, slightly spicy, warm, ripe. plummy, black cherry nose with some minerally, gently cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, gently cedary, harmonious, slightly spicy, warm, ripe, intense, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a somewhat lifted, slightly earthy, lingering, complex finish. 100% aged in oak for 20 months - 35% new French barriques with 65% in 2nd and 3rd fill. This totally new blend of 43.5% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 7.5% Petit (no Cabernet Franc) has 14% alcohol and 3.4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 306-17 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
