Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MOUNT VEEDER WINERY
Assessed from a sample sent by the winery. Extremely deep intense purple-crimson colour. Intense, spicy, expansive, rather juicy, ripe plummy-black-cherry nose with some very cedary, faint mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, dense and mouthfilling with very spicy, ripe, plummy-black-cherry flavours with some cassis notes and a lingering, fairly high acid, very cedary, somewhat savoury, faintly mineral-tinged finish. This still youthful blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 1901-1338 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
