Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HEDGES
Not quite new in Vintages. This distinctive blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Syrah and 8% Merlot has an extremely deep very intense purple colour. The nose shows lots of gently fruity, ripe, plum-cherry purée fruit with a touch citrus and buttered toast. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe, plummy-black-cherry fruit flavours with a lingering, bright, attractive, mellow finish. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The recommended 2016 (**+) was released on May 2, 2020 at $26.95 (#948992). CSPC 20491
