IL BRUCIATO 2019 DOC Bolgheri
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GUADO AL TASSO
This 2019 blend of approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Syrah (with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and
Petit Verdot) has a very deep intense ruby-purple colour. The nose shows lovely ripe fruit - Damson plum, ripe red cherry and blackberry with refined nuances of vanilla along with some minerality. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, quite harmonious, ripe, rounded, plummy, red and black cherry fruit flavours with a lingering, gently complex, sandalwood-tinged finish. It has 14.5% alcohol and 1.9 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0304 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Will keep, but surprisingly accessible at the moment.
