Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LA VIE D'ARNAUD
Here is an extremely tasty NEW in Vintages bargain-priced, ready-to-drink blend of Grenache and Syrah from Corbières in southeastern France. It has a very deep intense purple colour and an attractive, ripe, Damson plum, crancherry nose with some spicy, violet-licorice-tinged notes. Dry, medium bodied although quite well structured, it offers lovely, ripe, harmonious, plummy-blackberry flavours with a lingering, surprisingly richly textured, slightly spicy, faintly peppery finish. It has 14.8% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2020/08/28 on the back label. At it’s peak and best drunk over the next 12-16 months. CSPC 18784
