This new 2020 Western Cape rose may well be the best yet! Bright very pale salmon colour, the nose is very attractive with slightly spicy, mineral-tinged, fresh, very bright, ripe, plum-strawberry fruit. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, tangy, slightly spicy, favourful, ripe plum-strawberry flavours with a lingering, bright, crisp finish. This versatile, crowd-pleasing, very tasty blend of approximately 80% Grenache and 20% Viognier has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21089 on the back label. Screwcap closure.
