Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TERREDORA
The last time I tasted this it was the 2008 for the August 6, 2011 Vintages release. I am pleased to say that 2018 is much better that its predecessor. It has a rather deep intense purple colour and an attractive, fairly intense, ripe plum nose with some bright, minerally, sandalwood notes Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, very bright, very faintly earthy, well balanced, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, gently tangy, cedar-sandalwood finish. Versatile, well balanced and ready-to-drink, it is made from the indigenous 100% Piedirosso and has a somewhat modest 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19151011157 on the capsule.
