BAROLO 2015 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GIANNI GAGLIARDO
Faintly ambering medium-deep brick red colour. The nose is intense, slightly spicy and bright with still youthful, plum-cherry fruit along with sandalwood, red licorice and autumnal, fallen leaf notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, well structured, intense, youthful, firm Damson plum and dried-red-cherry flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-tinged, fairly high acid finish. A traditional style that needs time some it can still evolve. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L8185 on the back label. CSPC 548719
