BARBARESCO 2017 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer RIZZI
This very attractive, well priced, elegant 2017 Barbaresco brings out the best in Nebbiolo. Medium deep red in colour, the gently floral, slightly spicy, faintly leathery, ripe plum nose with some dried roses and sandalwood-cassis notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, nicely structured, bright, attractive, ripe, harmonious, plum-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, mineral-tinged, gentle sandalwood, still faintly grippy finish with excellent acidity. Showing nicely, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19BB17R on the back label. CSPC 478958
