TEPUSQUET VINEYARD SYRAH 2015 Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CAMBRIA
I am sorry to say that Syrah still seems to be a tough sell no matter how good it is. This one is very good and really deserves to be tried by fans of top Rhone reds. it has an extremely deep intense purple colour and a lovely, complex, gently smoky, leathery, cassis-driven nose with lots of bright, cedar-tinged, fraise de bois notes. Dry medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, bright, intense, ripe, dense plum flavours with some faintly smoky, cassis, black cherry and black pepper-tinged cedary notes. It has 13.9% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20170221 on the back label. CSPC 660415

An exotic mélange of inky dark fruit, creme de cassis, lavender, black pepper and spice builds as this striking wine shows off its pedigree. Drinking window: 2020-2030.
