SUBMISSION ROSÉ 2019 California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer 689 CELLARS
I am blind tasting, this minimalist, unidentified California blend from various regions and grapes. I was surprised that it isn’t more in your face, in fact, it might be mistaken for a subtle Provence rosé. It has a very pale pink colour and a slightly shy nose that has some floral notes and hints of wild strawberry. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied and nicely structured with fresh Damson plum and modest raspberry flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink, it has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar and has a “product of USA” designation. CSPC 19536

TASTING NOTE: This blend comprises grapes from select vineyards in Sonoma, Mendocino, Lodi and Monterey. It's a fresh, bright rosé, with orange citrus, red fruit, honey and mineral. Zesty and mouth-watering, this will be great with a black-bean burger, or grilled chicken with basil and red onions. Price $ 19.95
