WHOLE CLUSTER PINOT NOIR 2019 Willamette Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer WILLAMETTE VALLEY VINEYARDS
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Here is an easy-drinking, rather fruity, harmonious, versatile, 100% Oregon Pinot Noir that makes for great summertime sipping. NEW in Vintages, it has a bright medium-deep red colour. The attractive nose displays fresh, ripe, red-cherry-plum-raspberry purée fruit with a gentle ttouch of minerality. It’s dry, bright, medium bodied and smooth on the palate with a lingering, floral, rose-tinged, gently cedary finish. Ready-to-drink, it has 13.5% alcohol and according to the LCBO 8 g/L residual sugar with lot number “Lot#1” on the back label. I was surprised that the back label is 100% French only. CSPC 17687
