Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LOUIS JADOT
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. This elegant Pinot Noir comes from the first vineyards just north of Beaune. Medium deep red colour, the nose is elegant and yet fairly complex with warm, ripe cherry, plum and a touch to cranberry on the nose. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, slightly spicy, bright, plum and red cherry flavours with a lingering, mineral-tinged, fairly high acid finish. Still quite youthful, it has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L40200001 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 725804
