Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. It isnít everyday that you come across a Oregon Rouge River Pinot Noir for under $18 CND. This easy-going crowd-pleaser is for casual sipping anytime, anywhere and with anything. You donít need a fancy Riedel glass for this tasty red which is produced by Rio Vineyard Estate on their 460 acres of vineyards. Medium-deep red in colour, it has a gently smoky, ripe, plummy-crancherry nose. Dry, medium bodied and quite well structured, it has tangy, fruity, black-cherry-plummy flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, well structured, gently cedary-smoky finish. It has 13.7% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 190604 on the back label. CSPC 463018
