Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Intense very deep dark ruby red colour. The nose is very intense and complex with mature, sandalwood-vanilla-driven, warm plums and spicy, roasted chestnut notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, forward, intense, slightly baked, dried plum puree flavours with a long, lingering, fairly crisp, slightly spicy, high acid, vanilla-sandalwood-cedar-driven finish. This 100% Tempranillo was aged for 24 months in French oak and has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with no lot number evident. CSPC 276113
