Assessed from a fresh bottle purchased by the agent at he LCBO. Deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, fairly juicy, ripe, plum-cherry puree nose. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, fairly juicy, ripe, bright, plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, very faintly savoury, harmonious finish. Quite ready-to-drink, although it did improve with breathing. This new blend of 60% Grenache, 2% Syrah, 10% Cinsault (not mentioned on the back label) and 10% Mourvèdre has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16186 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
