Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Unable to get a bottle for assessment from agent. A FOURTH REPEAT of the 2010 (**+) that was last released on February 8, 2020 at $19.95. Here is my previous note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some mineral-tinged, cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, fairly ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, spicy, cedary, fairly high acid finish. This blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet has 14% alcohol and now 3 g/L residual sugar (down from 6 g/L) . The recommended 2010 (**+) was released on February 8, 2020 at $19.95. CSPC 448829

TASTING NOTE: A rich and beautiful Bordeaux with lots of blackcurrants, blueberries and vanilla character. Full body, round and soft tannins and a flavorful finish. Fruit-forward style. Delicious now but better in 2017. Serious wine from this appellation. About 80% merlot and the rest cabernets. Score - 91 (jamessuckling.com, Oct. 21, 2016) Price $ 19.95
