CHÂTEAU VRAI CAILLOU 2016 AC Bordeaux Supérieur
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Unable to get a bottle for assessment from agent. A THIRD REPEAT of the 2016 (**) that was last released on February 8, 2020 at $15.95. Here is my previous note: Deep purple colour. Bright, slightly spicy, somewhat shy, ripe plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, slightly spicy, fairly ripe, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, fairly high acid finish. This ready-to-drink blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc has 12.5% alcohol and now 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 348292
